The finale included five weddings, but only two concluded with the bride and groom exchanging vows — Iyanna and Jarrette and Danielle and Nick. The remaining three couples stated that they did not, but two left their relationships open-ended. Love Is Blind is a wacky dating experiment in which men and women form relationships blind to one another. They go on dates in connected pods that allow them to communicate but not see one another. They meet only if they become engaged. They then embark on a honeymoon, move in together, and introduce themselves to each other’s family and friends. Each couple must make the ultimate decision on their wedding day: “I do” or “I don’t.” Raise a glass of champagne and read our coverage of the Love Is Blind season 2 reunion and conclusion. Additionally, we’ve compiled a list of everything we know about Love is Blind season 3.
1) Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson
Danielle and Nick seemed nearly destined to be together in the pods, but they ran into some difficulties in Mexico. Despite their share of quarrels, this couple sealed the knot in a lovely wedding ceremony. They are still together now and are focusing on strengthening their relationship through couples therapy. “I believe the most difficult part for us was losing the show’s framework,” Nick explained to Us Weekly. “We rapidly realized, ‘Hey, we didn’t marry two months ago; we were single.’ Since then, we’ve met and married, gained friends and family, and everyone—some people are aware, while others are unaware.’ “And so it’s like, ‘How do you navigate these waters and transition from doing whatever you want two months ago to, like, being a family member?” “Danielle, you speak French,’ the marriage therapist actually said. He is fluent in German. And it does not translate when you speak to one another. And it takes months, if not years, to actually converse,” Danielle explained. However, these two are happier than ever off-camera. “I can’t wait for others to see how happy we are right now,” Danielle added. What about the Rock Band set (not to mention the food-themed costumes)? “The Rock Band set is here, as are the clothes. He wears the outfits more frequently than I,” she explained. “We deduced everything. Make a concession, make a concession.”
2) Abhishek ‘Shake’ & Deepti
While these two were not typically compatible, they developed a bond in the pods and traveled to Mexico as an engaged pair. It appeared as though Deepti admired Shake more than he admired her throughout the season, despite their intense emotional connection. The Dropout Season 2: Current Status, Release Date & Everything we know Who Is Hilary Duff’s Husband? Who Is Hilary Duff Married To? Shake was still concerned whether he should jeopardize his love with Deepti on their wedding day due to their slow-burning physical chemistry. Surprisingly, Deepti was the one who said “no” at the altar, claiming that she desired to be with someone who is certain she is “the one.” She selected herself, knowing that Shake would one day reflect on what he had lost. The two have unfollowed one another on Instagram since the season finale. Deepti has become increasingly vocal about her feelings of disdain toward Shake, which was brought up many times throughout the reunion show. As she stated, while it is understandable to be physically attracted to someone, Shake’s manner of speaking about it was not acceptable. Regrettably, Shake appears to have maintained his shallow methods, declaring that “love is not genuinely blind,” but rather “blurry.”
3) Mallory Zapata and Salvador Perez
Mal and Sal bonded instantly on the show, and not even a love triangle could keep these two apart. As the season progressed, cute picnic dates (and Sal’s ukulele) aided in their development of a strong bond. Sal appeared to be getting cold feet prior to the wedding at the finale. “I’m still undecided,” he explained. “However, I know that once I’m there and get to grasp Mallory’s hands and express how I feel, everything will be fine.” Mal was ready to marry at the altar, but Sal could not say, “I do.” “I feel as though I just need a little more time,” he said to Mallory, who responded, “It’s fine.” Thus, where are they now? “Mallory and I went on a date,” following the conclusion of filming, Sal explained to Page Six, “and we felt like we had discussed everything and experienced all we needed to.” “At the end of the day,” he continued, “it simply wasn’t there. We were really cordial in our dealings and simply parted ways.” “Since then, we’ve simply checked in on one other, and I wish her the best, and I have my respect for her and all that jazz. We attempted, we were vulnerable with one another, and that is really all we can do,” he concluded, according to Us Weekly. Sal has re-entered the dating scene. “I’ve applied all I’ve learned from this experience and am concentrating on my self-love as well,” he explained. “However, I am conversing with someone.” As for Mal, her Instagram account shows no trace of a new romance (yet).
4) Kyle & Shaina
The third couple to exit the pods together has serious Jessica and Mark vibes (from Season 1). Kyle adores Shaina far more than she adores him, owing primarily to her lingering crush on fellow contender Shayne. By saying “yes” to Kyle before disclosing her actual feelings to Shayne, she left her new fiancé alone in Mexico, eventually reuniting in Chicago to iron out their differences. After a tense meeting with Shaina’s family in Episode 6, the couple decided to call it quits. The two continue to follow each other on Instagram, with Kyle telling fans in a recent Instagram post, “Regardless of the outcome, this amazing friendship I share with Shaina will be remembered until the end of time.” The two never attempted to restart their romance following their breakup, to no one’s surprise. They were, however, able to see red flags in their relationships while watching the show again, ranging from Shaina leading him on for an extended period of time to Kyle feeling like her second option. Shaina claimed during the reunion that she and Shayne never pursued a relationship after the show ended.
5) Shayne & Natalie
Shayne followed his heart and proposed to Natalie after being indecisive about his feelings for Shaina. Their physical chemistry was instantaneous, and they immediately established themselves as one of the season’s strongest couples. The two had a heated argument off-camera the night before their wedding, leaving both of them uncertain about how the day would go. Though Shayne chose to marry Natalie, she did not. It appears as though all of their minor altercations culminated in one large enough for her to begin to doubt everything. Outside, she reassured him that the door to their relationship remained open, but they resumed their dispute. Both require time to heal, but it appears unlikely that they will resume their romance anytime soon. They recently reconnected on Instagram, and despite their demise, Shayne wrote some lovely words about Natalie prior to the finale, writing, “I want to ensure everyone understands that Natalie is a beautiful woman with a huge heart.” They attempted reconciliation the day after their wedding, but the wounds from their major battle were still too raw to renew their affection. Their love for one another remains strong, but it does not appear as though they will reconnect anytime soon.
6) Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones
Iyanna and Jarrette may not appear to be a perfect match at first (after all, she was his second choice in the pods), but Mexico quickly showed differently. While Jarrette retained affections for Mallory, his bond with Iyanna deepened. Iyanna noted immediately prior to their marriage that believing Jarrette to modify his bachelor habits took a “very, very significant leap of faith.” Despite this, she and Jarrette successfully exchanged vows and left the finale wedded. Today, Iyanna told Women’s Health, “we are still blissfully married.” “It feels incredible to have been able to navigate this journey together,” Jarrette told Page Six. “I believe the greatest issue we’ve faced is simply blending our lives into one.” “We were two entirely opposite persons… with her being an introvert and me being an extrovert,” he added. “I believe that is something we will continue to work on.” Additionally, Iyanna claimed that she contacted Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton from season one. “I wondered, ‘How are we going to endure this?’ because I knew it was going to be difficult,” she explained. “Cameron was able to impart considerable wisdom. He was extremely helpful and put me at ease.” You adore seeing it!
